    Hi, I am trying to figure out how long I should rest between 25m sets and blocks of 8, 6, 4 and 2 for this workout:

    Warm up: Swim or pull buoy only
    8 x 25m (every 4th fast)
    6 x 25m (every 3rd fast)
    4 x 25m (every 2nd fast)
    2 x 25m (both fast)

    Hi Jonatas

    Thanks for your question. We don’t have a time base, or rest period for the warm ups, as they are not the main set but ‘warm up’ for the main set. Some days athletes will be more tired and need more rest, or longer warm ups too.

    In this case 5 seconds would likely be fine. But it really doesn’t matter, just warming up the engine
