About Our Jeju Island Triathlon Camps is offering age group athletes the chance to join international coaches, Brett Sutton, Robbie Haywood, Jo Spindler and their professional squads training in beautiful Jeju Island, Korea. You’ll get individual advice on swim, bike and run from the most successful coaching team in the sport.

Age groupers will train alongside professional athletes at the same base used by Chrissie Wellington during the run up to her first Kona victory. The swimming facilities, dedicated cycle track and outdoor running trails are perfect for training, and the climate mimics Hawaii perfectly for acclimatisation.

At camp expect the same tough-love treatment as given to other professional athletes: “It’s not like other camps. You come in and get treated like any other team member—no gushing, no hand holding.” However, the camp is all about helping you leave a better athlete or with the tools to make you into a better athlete, so YOU decide the amount of training you can handle. Training flexibility is based on every athlete’s needs and race schedule.

5-day Camp: Monday 21st September to Friday 25th of September, 2015

Training Camp FAQs

What are the camp dates?

Jeju Island, Korea Pre Kona camps

7-day Camp: Monday 7th September to Sunday 13th September, 2015

3-day Camp: Friday 25th September to Sunday 27th of September, 2015

Private Training

Outside of organized camp weeks, private training weeks also available.

What you can expect?

During the week you will receive advice during workouts on your swim, bike and run technique.
There will be opportunity to ask questions during workouts.

We swim Monday through Saturday morning.

Training is decided each day depending on athlete needs, athlete race schedules and the weather.
We usually train 3 workouts each day.
Some of these will be with the pro’s and/or other visiting age group athletes, and some will be on your own. e.g. easy recovery runs and rides.

Coaching for 7 days Monday to Sunday.

How much does it cost?

Jeju Island Camps

$499 for 7 days. Discounts available for additional weeks.

$299 for 3 days.


Private Training

$999 for 7 days outside of scheduled camp dates.

How do I book?

Decide on the camp dates that you wish to attend. Camps run Monday to Sunday.
E-mail to confirm your place.
Payment via online purchase from our store or bank transfer must be processed before attending camp. Payment is due 60 days before camp start date.

Accommodation & Travel Options:

Visitors to Jeju Island are encouraged to contact our partner, Majestar Tour, who can provide a variety of accommodation options (from guest-house dormitories to 5-star hotels) within the Jungmun Tourism Complex.

All accommodation options will be located around Jungmun Tourism Complex given it’s proximity to training facilities such as the pool and run track.

Flights and travel arrangements to Jeju can also be handled by Majestar at the most affordable prices.

What we don't provide?

Accommodation, transport, meals, spares, sag wagon, drinks, gels, bars, bike rental and evening entertainment – please be prepared to be self sufficient in these areas – just like our pro athletes!

Terms and Conditions


Campers must have a comprehensive and valid triathlon and multisports insurance policy in place when they arrive and during their training with This policy should include emergency medical care, cover for personal injury, including cover for all activities, including water activities, loss or damage to your luggage, loss or damage to equipment hired or borrowed from us or third parties, repatriation, legal expenses cover and expenses associated with cancellation or curtailment of their booking. You should be in possession of an up-to-date EHIC card available from your local post office before travelling abroad.


You should recognise the inherent risks in endurance training, including swimming, cycling and running training, you will be participating in and agree to accept complete responsibility for any injury, damage or loss caused by you as a result of participation in those activities. You will be requested to sign a disclaimer upon arrival, which outlines your acceptance of the risks as part of participation in the activities at training.


Camp athletes will be required to sign a waiver of liability document releasing from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during training with and its coaches before the commencement of training at Jeju.
